Starling Arts was founded by Georgina Wroe, a professional performer and educator from Somerset. She began her journey in the performing arts at Yeovil College before earning her BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Musical Theatre from The Urdang Academy, London.
Georgina’s performance career has taken her across the UK and internationally, with credits including featured dance roles in campaigns for Adidas and Foot Locker, live performances at Hyde Park and Victoria Park during the London Olympics, choreography for the award-winning comedy group Four Screws Loose, and appearances at events like the Chariots of Fire film premiere and Britain’s Next Top Model.
In 2015, Georgina travelled to Thailand and noticed a significant lack of high-quality, accessible performing arts training. This inspired her to begin providing more opportunities at Chiang Mai Drama Centre in 2019.
Now based in the UK as a LAMDA Speech and Drama Tutor at Millfield School, Georgina continues to grow Starling Arts as a bridge between the UK and Thailand. Her mission is to connect passionate students and educators across continents through classes, retreats, and collaborative productions, empowering the next generation of performers to thrive on and off the stage.
At Starling Arts, we offer a variety of programs that nurture creativity, build confidence, and inspire a love of performance.
Our core offerings include musical theatre and drama classes, private coaching for LAMDA Speech and Drama exams, and themed holiday camps that encourage imagination and self-expression through storytelling, movement, and play.
In the future we hope to run international retreats and collaborative projects that connect students and educators in both the UK and Thailand
